I'm sorry can you repeat that!?!

I have been a Christian since I was 15 years old. My parents started taking me to church when I was in 10th grade and I loved it instantly. The people were great and having a higher purpose was wonderful. For some reason when you are 15 it is easy to hear God but then as you grow older it is like you turn the volume down (or at least for me!) I am now 36 years old and finally I feel like I can hear God and this time I am really listening! I don't know what all He has in store for me but I am trusting in Him to show me the way. This week I had 3 visitors in my Sunday School class and I was so excited! It felt kinda like a reward for stepping up and doing what the Lord asked of me.

I am excited to finally feel like I am listening and acting on what He wants me to do. I feel like I am finally getting onto the right road after being lost and confused forever! It is almost like being on vacation, really! lol I have been trying to take Jesus where I wanted to go and lets just say He isn't someone that you can easily push along! Now that I am letting Him drive, I can kick back, take in the scenery, and let Him show me the way. Saying all of that doesn't mean that I am not doing anything. I think I am doing more now than I have in a long time but when He is driving it seems so much easier. I am drawing closer to Him through reading His word more often (I can't say daily yet) and praying more often and listening for Him. Sometimes He just wants us to be still and listen. I didn't think about that very much until recently (no wonder I couldn't hear him!) When is the last time you were still? I know it is hard to find time but sometimes you have to make the time and it is SO WORTH IT!!!

Here I am!

So I have been Absent for so long I feel like I should reintroduce myself! Hi, my name is Candace and I am about to turn 36 years old. I have a daughter that is almost 4 but really going on 16, ya know. Anyway, I have been staying at home with her for some time and loving every minute of it. She is going to be starting preschool in the fall and I am scared and nervous about that. I am hoping to start back to school then too. I am going to go to Cosmetology School if I can get everything done in time. I have to start working on that Monday. I really just wanted to do the nail technology classes but they don't offer that separate from the hair. Oh well it won't hurt to know how to do hair, right?

Anna and I have been spending the majority time of the summer in the pool. Anna has learned how to swim as good as most of the older kids. She can even swim to the bottom of the pool and how to do flips. I love watching her in the pool! Next week I get to watch her learn how to dance! She is going to a dance camp and I am praying that she will cooperate lol.

As of this past week we have started watching 2 other little girls, 6 & 8 years old. They are a lot of fun. (most of the time, lol) We are getting on great though and I am sure that the longer we are together the better it will get. Since we have been keeping them we go to the pool twice a day, lol. Anna loves having them to play with. They are teaching her how to pretend, share and how to play nicely with friends.

So that is where I am at, where are you?

Fullfillment

I have writers block!!!

My life has been full. Full of fun, full of learning, full of things to do, full of love, just plain old full! I haven't really been blogging much besides pictures because I have been to busy living my life. In one way I have really missed blogging. I have great ideas for a post and then I get busy again and poof it is gone. So instead of a lovely witty post you get my day!

Anna and I went to the park this morning. We had a great time with friends. Anna played hard and is now napping hard. YAY! She learned today that throwing rocks isn't a good idea! I don't know why she and her little friend thought it would be fun to throw rocks at each other. Anna (who has a great throw) threw one right into her friends head. Luckily it was a little rock and it hurt but it didn't bust her head or anything. My daughter looked so pleased with herself. I think she was thinking "yeah, I can really throw good!" I had to explain that throwing rocks was a very bad idea. So they went and started jumping up and down trying to tear leaves out of one of the tall trees! They also pushed each other on the swings, rode bikes together (even sharing each others) and played together beautifully!

After nap I hope to go out and get some work done in the back yard cause let me tell you it is NOT pretty!!! My weeds are growing to high and I still have stacks of pine straw where I raked them up and never took them out. Maybe I will post pictures if I can get enough done. I might even go get started on it while Anna finishes her nap. That is if I can get out the door without waking her up. She seems to have a radar that tells her when a door is opened while sleeping! It is crazy!

So I hope you are full and happy! See ya when I see ya! Probably tomorrow but maybe Monday!!!

Changes!

My life is full of changes right now. Maybe that is why I haven't been blogging. I am trying to wrap my brain around everything going on. In a nut shell here is what is going on in my world!

  • Chris started a new job! After 11 years at the same place he is branching out with a wonderful opportunity!
  • I am trying to get things together to enroll Anna in preschool (shudder)
  • I have several friends that just had babies! Yeah I know that shouldn't effect me but ya know lol.
  • I was possibly going to keep a 1 year old during the day but that didn't work out.
  • Chris's Daddy was having heart issues. It was a scary time but all is well. He had a heart cath done and although there was 20 - 30% blockage they didn't think it was bad enough to warrant even a stint so that is great news.
  • I am doing more stuff for the church. I am working on their website just making some adjustments etc. and I started a Facebook profile and group for them.
  • I try to go up there at least once a week during the day just because it is a blessing to hang out with everyone up there. I always feel a little happier and connected after I leave.
  • Chris and I are going to move (I think) so that he can be closer to work. Which means I have a ton of stuff to do around the house, inside and out. With the weather so warm I just want to be outside!

Ok so when you list it out here like that it doesn't look like so much lol. I wonder why I feel like my life has been moving in the fast lane.

Anna is doing great. She is starting to grasp her ABC's. She can point out several of the letters etc. Her counting is still crazy but she can count 3 items. She knows her colors when she wants to and if she doesn't forget about it! She loves to be outside. She would spend all of her time out there if she could. We have been doing yard work and she gets excited when I mention it to her. She also loves to help clean the house. I will have to put her to work later cause the house definitely needs cleaning. She is a little jealous of her friends all having babies but she is taking it in stride. She is also taking in stride that her Daddy is starting a new job and we won't be going back to the old office. She goes back and forth about school. One day she is excited and the next she wants to know why I can't go with her.

Me? A Role Model?

My head is jumbled up with thoughts. Thoughts of the future and the present. I was laying in the bed with Anna for her nap and I was thinking. Thinking that one day many, MANY years from now that Anna may lay down with her little boy or girl and watch the leaves dancing in the wind. That everything we do will carry over into her adult life. Someone told me we all have role models. Some are good and some not so good. I so desperately want to be a good role model for Anna. Sometimes it scares me and I feel uncertain and afraid. Who am I to try to mold this wonderful little girl into anything? Then today I had a little insight (with help). We are what we think! If we have thoughts of doubt and fear, feelings of unworthiness etc. that is what we are going to put out there. If we have thoughts of love, hope, joy and happiness that is what we are going to put out there. For to long I have been putting out the wrong stuff. I have let feelings eat me alive and control my world. I have been working on me for a while but I think I have been treading water more than anything. Maybe this will be the year that I break free and become the woman God intended me to be.

What kind of model are you going to be? Anyone out there want to join me in offering words of encouragement every now and again? You know the buddy system lol.

Update!!!

It has been a busy week. We had our first baking play date that was a huge success. We rearranged Anna's room and put her Christmas tree up. We had another play date at the park so that the girls could ride their tricycles around the little sidewalk. We started working on Christmas gifts! Ok well, when you put it in sentences it looks like not so much lol. Trust me though we STAYED busy. Anna's room seriously took all day. Of course that was my fault cause I wasn't happy with the way I did and changed it like 3 times lol. Anywho, today we have had a nice day. We had left over from scratch biscuits and some grits (cause yeah I am southern like that)! (If you want the recipe for biscuits I will put that up on my other blog in just a minute!) We went to Wal-mart to get some stuff for our Thanksgiving dinner at church tomorrow. I am making another cookie cake. After looking at all of the Christmas stuff and the toys we headed over to the flea market to let Anna visit the puppies. She loves to visit them! After that we went to the Bamboo Farm. I so wished I had my camera. We had fun just roaming around throwing sticks to see who could throw it the further than the others. Chris and Anna had some bonding time which they haven't had a lot of lately and it was just so relaxing. No rushing around, no feeling like we should be doing something else, and just us hanging out laughing and playing! Life doesn't get any better than that! I challenge you to do something fun with no pressures and just work on laughing!

Now if you want to see Anna's room!!!

Cookies and pumpkins

What a crazy week! I have been running around like a chicken all week. Until today that is. Today I had friends over and we baked cookies. Oh man they are SO good. I will give you guys the recipe. Actually I might send you over to Be Jolly By Golly for them lol. Anyway, we let the girls play hard and then we had pizza and cookies and then went out and carved our pumpkin. Well, I pretty much did it while chatting with my friend and watching the girls play. It was the best morning I have had all week. I also sold a car seat on Craigslist! Yippee!!!
Well, I am going to go munch on some cookies and post them over at BJBG!!! Go over and get and if you try them let me know!!!
*A preview ~ The recipe will go up tomorrow at BJBG!

Of course, after I do that I need to clean my living room it looks like a tornado (or maybe just 2 little girls happy to be together again) came through!

My life

God has really been working on me lately. I have mentioned it here several times. I have a long way to go that is for sure. I am working on numerous parts of my life to get in line with God's plan.

This week part of my past was settled. Well, at least settled more than it has been before. Because of that I am starting to actually feel a little peace and a little joy. I don't feel like my blood pressure is through the roof on most days. I do appreciate my family and being able to spend my day with Anna outside.

I am still working on making things right with my husband. Also, I am trying to figure out where my Mighty God would have me go and do. I know he has a wonderful purpose for me but my clouded vision hasn't been able to see it yet.

I have been trying to find a verse in the Bible and I can't put my fingers on it. If any of you can figure it out please share. All I can remember is that it said something about eagles wings and I think it was either in Proverbs or Psalms. It has been messing with me. I remember feeling so touched when I read it and now I can't find it again. I know I am grasping for straws here. If I could remember more I am sure it would help but... I am hoping someone will know what I am talking about lol.

Pity Party ~ Done!

In case you guys didn't notice I have been having a pity party over here in my part of the world. I am done with that. I am finally ready to pick myself up by the boot straps. I am not saying I will change over night cause I have a lot of changing to do. I have to focus on the good things though and gradually change the bad. I would like to thank friends and family for standing by me even when I haven't been my best. For loving me even when I didn't feel lovable. For showing me that I deserve so much more than I am allowing myself to receive. So having said all of that; I am shedding all of my grumpiness, well for the most part. I am going to jump into my new life with both feet. I am going to grab that perverbial bull by the horns. In other words I am going to live my life instead of hiding from it.

Enough about all of that! So Tropical Storm Hanna is setting a path to knock on our door later this week. Exciting, huh!?! I know Pop you don't think it is exciting at all. I am just glad that we live in a time when we can know days in advance about it. We can decide whether we will stay or leave. We don't have to find out the moment that it arrives.

In an attempt to get my life back on track I have started cleaning my house up better. I am getting rid of the clutter and well cleaning up lol. Today I have worked on my bedroom, which happened to be the worst room in the house. It already looks much better although I still have some stuff to do. I am washing sheets and blankets and I still need to vacuum. However, you can now see that I have a dresser and floor. Maybe, after nap I will get it all finished and put some pics on here for ya!

Sorry this post was kinda scattered! That is just the way my brain works right now, so I am going with it lol!

Here is Anna the day Tropical Storm Fay came through! I say came through it was about 200-300 miles away but we still felt the wind and rain from it.

MIA

I'm sorry I have neglected you all this past week. I have been living in my real world. A world filled with imagination, music, dancing, Sesame Street and other animations. It is also full of unkind realities, forgiveness, love and new beginnings. I have spent the week trying to deal with all of those aspects of my world. I have been struggling with depression for a while now and didn't even understand it. I hope that I am coming out of this ugliness and back into my self. I feel a little closer to that fun loving woman that I use to be. Not that I am really there yet but at least I am working on it!

My birthday is in 2 weeks! I will be, uh ummm, 35 years old although if you ask me on any normal day I will tell you 27ish lol. I don't really have so many issues with turning 35 years old this year. In years past I have struggled with getting older. Now I can say that I don't feel 35 so thats ok. Not to mention I have had numerous people telling me lately how good I look and well you know that never hurts a girls self image!
Here is a collage of how I have been spending my days!

Busy, Busy, Busy

The end of last week we finished Anna's swimming lessons, picked up a guy coming home from Iraq, spent time with friends, cleaned house and stayed extremely busy. I have posted here and there but let me recap for you guys.

Swimming lessons ~ Yay we are done lol. Anna did great throughout the process. I am not sure how much more she learned going there but hey she can swim underwater even better (although she still can't pop up to breathe) and she is more comfortable trying to float even though she can't do it just yet. She enjoyed her teacher and her classmates and even asked if we were going to see Megan today.
Picking up Jason ~ It has been great having Jason home again. We went to dinner with him Thursday night and he came and hung out with us Saturday afternoon. He is trying to win Anna's affections again. She is holding out although she is doing better. She didn't hide from him Sunday at church.

Hanging out with friends ~ That is one of my favorite things to do. We had a "party" with Allie after swimming lessons ended. It was fun we had tacos and cupcakes and the girls played hard! They have so much fun together! It is great talking to Shanda too. If I had looked around the church I would have really thought we would be least likely to be friends. She is just so quiet and well I am not lol. I love hanging out and talking with her though. She is quickly turning into a very dear friend. We also had another dear friend over to go swimming. Denise and her two boys. We always enjoy having them over because Anna thinks her youngest (a 10 year old) is the bees knees. You know the equivalent of Patrick Swayze or Tom Cruise in my younger years.

Cleaning house ~ Yuck, I hate this lol. We are preparing for Anna's party and I have a lot left to do. However, I did declutter my living room and put most of Anna's toys in her room. My living room looks so much better for it! I also cleaned behind tables and chairs etc. You know the deep kind of cleaning. I also started on the kitchen although there is more to do in there. I plan to do a little in the house and the yard daily so that everything will be as close to perfect for Anna's party as I can get it.

So this week is going to be a lot of prep work for her party and not as much fun as usual. Although ya'll know that I will squeeze it in there somewhere! So what are ya'll doing this week? I am still looking for great birthday ideas if anyone would like to share!!!

Slacker!!!

I have been such a slacker where the blog is concerned. We have been busy though so that is my excuse. We have been running every which way getting Chris ready for his mission trip, getting ready for my old high school friend to come to town and for our first small group session with the church to be held at my house. Busy, busy, busy!!!

Chris had Thursday off and we had a great day. We went to the pool so that Chris could see Anna swimming. It was great! Anna loved having her Daddy there with her. She even really practiced swimming without wings. She did pretty good. She would use her arms and legs but would still go under. She got to where she was trying to hold her breathe. Hopefully she will improve each time we go. I am just thrilled that she isn't afraid of the water.

Friday we went to Chuck E. Cheese with friends after seeing Chris off. We had a blast! She was utterly exhausted by the time we got home and she just crashed. That gave me time to prepare for my friends arrival. I did a little housework and then a friend of mine (Denise) came over and helped me with some yard work. Chris didn't have time to do it before he left because we had monsoon Thursday afternoon. Denise was a Godsend for coming over in the heat of the day to help. After we did the front yard we were burning up so we decided I would do the back yard Saturday AM. We would go to the pool instead! Anna loved watching Denise's 10 year old son at the pool. He was great with her too. He let her play basketball with him with one of those pool sets and even let her use his water gun. Good times!

Saturday, we spent the day with Beth, my high school friend. We just messed around and found a big HUGE sucker for her sons. Let Anna play a little and had Mexican for lunch, of course. Anna skipped nap time and crashed by 9. We were watching Monsters, Inc. and she just zonked out.

Today we had Sunday School and church. We went to lunch with Denise afterwards and Anna ate like a horse! She crashed again today by the time we got home. That gave me time to get ready for our small group tonight. We thought we would have it outside and let the kiddos play in the water while we did our Bible Study. Ha you know what they say about the best laid plans! About 10 minutes before everyone arrived it started lightening and just after everyone arrived it started pouring! We put the kids in Anna's room with a movie and I ended up having to referee them because they were being wild. You know 5 kids + 1 small space = chaos. It was though. It was nice getting to talk to people going through the same thing in life that I am.

In the mist of all of this excitement I have decided to break myself of climbing in the bed with Anna. This is something that I have done since we changed her to a full size bed. I would go in to lay down with her and end up falling asleep myself or if I managed to get up then I would lay down with her after I got up to take her pee pee. Now I am letting her lay down and go to sleep by herself. It has been better than I expected but it is still hard. I miss my extra snuggles. I don't get them much during the day any more since she is so busy. I am more than just a mom though. I am a wife as well and my hubby needs me. It is hard to figure out how to spread yourself out and attempt to make them both happy. Oh and I can't forget making myself happy ;) I love the snuggle time with Anna but I have missed that snuggle time with Chris. Ya'll pray for me that I can survive this transition!

Tuesday - Home Style

No I am not still on vacation. Yes we had to leave the mountains. :(

Today I worked a lot and played a lot. I thought I would tell you about my day because well I think it was a great day lol. This morning Anna and I slept in until 8:00 AM that's right people EIGHT AM. She woke up because she heard her Daddy leave. She ran as fast as she could to be able to wave at him through the windows. Which is a tradition in this house. Today she didn't make it in time. She was crushed! We called him so she could tell him to "have good day!" and "See ou Later!". She loves her Daddy very much.

I started some laundry and we had breakfast. We hung the clothes on the line and had to rush to get ready for our play date with Brooks at the park. We were a little late because someone couldn't decide what to wear and NO it wasn't me thank you very much. I had to try 3 shirts before Anna would agree to wear one. We stayed at the park for about an hour and had a great time. Lori and I enjoyed catching up because we haven't seen each other in a while and Anna and Brooks had a blast. Absence does make the heart grow fonder. We left there ran to Big Lots because I forgot some things at the store like tooth paste and dish washing stuff. Nothing important you know. Then we were nice and stopped to get a sweet tea for Chris and had to take a book he had forgotten at home. Anna drank half of his tea but he appreciated it all the same.

We came home had lunch and tried to nap but was not very successful. After trying for a while I finally gave up. We went and got the clothes off the line put some more out. Went to the front and cleaned my car out and washed! (Yes Pop I did it and at this very moment Chris is vacuuming and armor all-ing it!) By the time we were done with that we went to the back to hang up some more clothes. Anna wasn't ready to come in just yet so we stayed. I was sitting in a chair relaxing for a moment. Anna climbed up in my lap and we started watching the clouds. I would say "hey do you think that looks like a dolphin?" She would say "oh YEAH" and so on and so on. Then planes started coming over a lot. It was probably 10 planes in an hour. So we discussed where they were going. Most of them were going shopping or to the beach lol. I guess those are her favorite things to do huh. It was just so great having her leaning back on me watching all of the stuff in the sky. It just felt oh so perfect! After a while of that she got ready to run around again so we did for a while. When it was close to time for Daddy to get home we went out front and drew on the sidewalk with chalk. She was very excited to see her Daddy. Did I mention that she loves him A LOT?

The American Dream!

Some days I feel like I am living the All American Dream! Sure I spend a lot of my days doing laundry, dishes and cleaning but inbetween all of that it is full of moments of laughter and fun with my daughter and on a smaller scale because somebody has to bring home the bacon my hubby. I feel like a woman of days of old since I am doing so many things without equipment. You know hanging out laundry and dishes by hand etc. Oh and don't forget my vegetable garden outside. I feel like I have the life that I always wanted. To a lot of people this will sound stupid and well insane. Not only do I do tons of house work but I also have to give up a lot of extras in life. At first this was hard for me and even still today some days it is really hard but for the most part not so much. Sure I splurge every now and then like last week I had a pedicure with a friend. I was desperate you see. Sandal season is upon us and my feet were just shameful! Shameful I tell ya!

I would like to say thank you to all of those who help make this dream possible. My in-laws that are so good to us and so very helpful! My friends that help entertain me and Anna on days when I just need to get out and about. My hubby and Anna for making my life so rewarding and fun!

This and That

We have had a good day so far. We went out this morning to run our errands and we went to the park inside the mall. It is actually cold here today. So cold in fact my feet are freezing! Yes you heard me ~ my feet ~ are freezing!!! I even have socks on thank you very much lol. Anyway, It was a nice relaxing morning so this afternoon we will have to do a few things around the house. I have dishes to be washed from breakfast and lunch. I have another load of laundry that needs to be done. Why is it that laundry and dishes are NEVER done!?! I also have chicken salad to make and I have to figure out what to do for dinner. I am sure I will have to pick up toys once again too.

Speaking of toys 5 Minutes for Moms has a great give away going on over at their place! They own a business that sales cool toys. They are giving away a 1965 Red Mustang! Run over and check it out. I know Anna would love to have it and I am sure you little one would too!

Good Times and Resentment!

We went out for a play date this morning. We had a blast. Anna played hard for an hour on the playground with Brooks before heading back to their house. They ran and sang and climbed and picked up acorns and ran a bunch more lol. We went back to their house and had lunch and played a little more. Lori and I talked about church stuff, life and all that girly stuff we tend to talk about. It was a nice change of pace for both me and Anna. I was feeling all relaxed and happy when we got home. That is when the resentment hit me. I walked in the door to find red stuff all over my floor. I couldn't even determine what it was until I was right on it. Apparently my dog decided he was going to eat our fish food. So now even after vacuuming my carpet is still tinted red. I will have to get the carpet cleaner out after Anna wakes up and I have to tell you I resent the crap out of that.

I love my dog to pieces but I am so tired of never having a clean house. If he isn't finding a way to get into trash, he finds any type of food left on counter like bread or fruit or oatmeal or whatever I have left out. Now that I am onto his game he has switched to going for fish food. Oh and I forgot the time I left my purse down with m&m's in a ziplock bag and he got into that! I am just so frustrated and ready to beat the dog! If anyone wants a 13 year old boxer that sleeps a lot and likes to eat like a goat call me!!! He is free in fact at this point I might even pay you to take him lol.

Thanks for letting me vent!!!

* Disclaimer: Thank you Mamacheryl for reminding me that he will also water your plants , furniture and carpet to help them grow! Oh whats that, you say furniture and carpet don't grow well you won't know until you give it a shot, right! My phone is waiting ~ call now!!!

Order in our lives

I was studying my Sunday School lesson last night and it is all about orderliness. I had never really thought of this as a lesson to be learned by God but it was right in front of me the whole time. As the lesson says it started with God creating the earth. He didn't just snap His fingers and have everything as He wished. He took six days to do it all. Doing it in a specific order. This lesson really talked to me because I am not as orderly as I should be. I tend to lose things because of my lack of order. I will come in and take my keys to the bathroom or put my purse in the kitchen lol. If I did things in a specific order every time I came in I would always know where things were.

So I am going to teach the kids about orderliness tomorrow and I will try to learn this lesson myself. I will attempt to show the kids that you can apply a lesson to your life! That the Bible isn't just a book that we read but a book that is a guideline for us so that we know the best way to live our lives. God only wants the best for us and He gives us the answers if we just open our eyes and ears but mostly our hearts!

Finally Home!

We got home late yesterday afternoon. We ran in the door, unpacked the car and I cooked dinner and headed out leaving my hubby with Anna. I had choir practice and I was an hour early lol. I missed the memo since I wasn't there last week that it was pushed back an hour. So I chatted with friends and relaxed for a few. Don't tell anyone but it was really kinda nice. We have been going strong for over a week and I am tired! Anna is too she was so sleepy when nap came around today she wanted to just skip lunch. Last night she was so tired she wanted to go to bed at 8. Now that we are home we are going to take it easy for a few days. Doing the bare minimum! We went visiting friends this morning. Then we repaired our wreath and put it up. Bare MINIMUM lol. I will do some laundry later cause Anna wet the bed again last night. I hope once we get back into the swing of things we can get back on track with the bed wetting stuff. That is really the only time we are having accidents now so I guess I shouldn't complain but... I am! Having to deal with a wet bed at 2 in the morning is NO fun whatsoever!

Well, I am going to run now and use the rest of nap time to work on some pictures we took while we were gone. I might have a poll on here later to see what picture you guys think we should use for our Christmas cards. Have a great day!

Renewing Friendships

I have somehow managed to lose touch with friends over the course of 2 years. Since Anna was born I just had my life revolving around her and let my friends slide. Even the friends that we still see on occasion aren't as close as we use to be. I have decided to change that. I realize after a lot of crap has happened in my life that you need friends. You need people in your life that you turn to and that you are there for. So to my friends (all of you) I am sorry I haven't been there for you as I should have been and I hope that we can renew our frienship. Yesterday, I took a step to renew one with a friend I use to work with. Her daughter had a baby and was in the hospital so Anna and I took them a little gift and visited for an hour or so. It was really nice. Except for the fact that I hadn't been there for her through some very difficult realities it felt like time had not passed. Now I have to live with the fact that I let my friend down and I have to move forward. I hope that we can start over and renew that friendship. Her daughter was always like a sister to me and we seemed to step right back into that. It was very nice. I hope her and her baby get to go home soon!

I like to think that other Moms have this same problem. Adjusting their life and their childs and not giving up their life. However, I think from what I have seen it seems so much easier for others. I hear about people that continue there life after having a baby as they did before and I wonder "How do they do that". My life revolves around Anna and I really don't want to change that I just want to include some of my life in hers. I want to introduce her to my friends have them play a substantial role in her life. After all it takes a village, right? I need balance! That is exactly what I need! Anyone have ideas on how to find balance?

We are off again!

Tomorrow we are heading off to the in-laws. Then Friday we are heading off to Myrtle Beach! YAY!!! I can't wait. Apparently we are staying in a condo that has a dock outside the window. So Anna can look out and see the water and the boats! She is going to LOVE that!

Tomorrow we will leave around lunch time so that she can nap most of the way there. Friday we will leave there after lunch so hopefully she will sleep most of the way to Myrtle Beach. The best part of the whole trip - are you ready? Saturday night my sis-in-law and I will get to have a girls night out while MIL and Anna have a girls night in woo hoo! I don't know what we will do but it will be nice getting out after dark lol.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend. I will check in next week probably Monday!
