So after reading on Works for Me Wednesday about something called Angel Food Ministries I decided to try it out. So I will pick up my order on Saturday between 12 and 2! I am very excited I can't believe the price that you pay for so much food. My tackle today though is to create a menu for the next few weeks using the items we will receive so that I know what to buy at the grocery store. I am appealing to you creative ladies for help because my menu creating skills are sorely laking. My creativity in the kitchen is pretty much non-existant! So if you have any creative dishes that you would like to share with me please do so either through an email or in my comments! I would really appreciate it and my hubby would probably love you forever lol. You can only eat the same dishes so many times before they are not so appealing anymore!

  1. Hi Candace

My suggestion is that you have a look at the menu plans on Laura's site under Menu Plan Monday. There are some GREAT ideas.
I also participate so on my organising blog, you can find some ideas from yesterday.

  2. You could easily do a hashbrown casserole, chicken fajitas, chicken Parmesan,

for the chicken thighs, i would cook Rachael Ray's Road to Morocco (Lamb) ... with couscous. One of my all time faves. You could use the Philly steak to make some Yummy Philadelphia Steak Quesadillas. Wow, that's a great idea I just had!

That's a great idea ... the closest one to our home is a half hour, but I might try it next month. Thanks for passing this along. I also think Laura's site on Mondays is a great way to get new ideas. I also love to scour my cookbooks for new ideas. I sit with a hot drink and just leaf through book after book.
