Tiny Talk Tuesday

Anna is my little talker and she keeps it going pretty steady. Here is what she has had to say over the past few weeks.

While we were packing her Daddy up:

Anna: Where is Daddy going?

Mommy: Daddy is going to Kentucky to work for God.

Anna: Mommy, I need Jesus too!

Every morning after she wakes up:

Anna: Mommy what are us doing today?

Talking to her Daddy while he is away:

Anna: What're you doin?

Daddy: Walking

Anna: What did you find?

Daddy: A park

Anna: NO come to my house!

The first night we were trying to get her to stay in her bed and go to sleep by herself (Which was this past Thursday):

Anna: Moooommmmmmyyyyy (numerous times)

Mommy: Anna I will come to check on you in a minute please stop yelling at me.

Pause for a moment

Anna: Mooommmmmmyyyy I am in YOUR spot!!!

Mommy: You are?

Anna: Yes are you coming?

Mommy: I will come check on you in a minute. You can stay in my spot!

On the way to a friends house:

Mommy: (Singing) Nacho Nacho Man ~ I want to be a nacho man. (we were going to eat nachos)

Anna: (after singing with me for a while) Mommy thats enough.

Mommy: Oh ok. (after stopping for a minute I started again. I couldn't help it.)

Anna: Mommy I said thats enough.

Tiny Talk Tuesday!

I haven't done this in a while and thought I would join back in. Anna is a little talker these days. She loves talking on the phone and will even have a conversation with someone else or by herself on it lol.

The other day we were leaving the beach and she wanted her "lips" on. I forgot her lip gloss at home and I just said well maybe Yia Yia has them why don't you call her and see. She got the cell phone (a non working one) and opened it up and punched buttons. She got a pretend Yia Yia on the phone and it went a little something like this:

• Yia Yia hey what you doin?
• ~pause~
• Yeah we are at the beach.
• ~pause~
• no, we go home now.
• ~pause~
• Yia Yia do you have my lips at your house?
• ~pause~
• oooohhhh. ok I will get them later.
• ~pause~
• ok. Thank you. Talk to you later.
• ~pause~
• bye!

I promise there wasn't anyone else on the other end of that phone. But she sounded like there was. Chris was with me that day and he was cracked up!

The other night we were on our way home from church and she was having a total melt down. There are two houses under construction down from our house. Everytime we go by them Anna says Mommy are they working? I will either say yes or no and if it is no she says Oh they are at their Mommy's house? Well we went by the houses when she was having her melt down. In the middle of her wailing she said Mommy, working?

I don't know if I have told you all but Anna is my keeper. Any time we get in the car she asks me: Mommy you got your phone? Mommy you got your keys? If by some chance I do forget something she says Well Mommy GO GET IT! Even if we are 30 minutes away she thinks I should GO GET IT. I'd be so lost without her!

Tiny Talk Tuesday

Anna has turned into quiet the chatter box. She is also getting to be very stubborn and vocal about it lol.

While shopping with her Yia Yia:

Yia Yia: Anna do you like this dress?
Anna: (Looked at the dress and simply shook her head) I not gonna wear that!

If I wear something new or something that she really likes she says: Mommy turn around (spinning her finger in a circle.)

I wanna wear jeans. I wanna wear that dress. These are the things I hear in the mornings. She has gotten very paticular in what she wants to wear lol.

Let's go out in the yard to pull weeds. Has been her sentence of the day.

I was getting my hair colored yesterday and Anna was sitting in the chair watching.

Anna: Mommy your hair is getting BIG!
Mommy: it is?
Anna: Yes it is.

Anna: Oh Mommy your hair is so pretty! Let me see. (she said this last part as she is grabbing strands of it to inspect lol) I tell you she is either going to go into fashion design or a hair stylist.
